Indie pop artist Billie Eilish is best known for her debut single “Ocean Eyes.” On March 25th, Eilish brought her sold out Where’s My Mind Tour to the Coda nightclub in Philadelphia, PA. The anticipation for the show was huge after the original date had to be rescheduled due to a recent nor’easter. Eilish put on a fantastic show alongside her brother and another band mate. The crowd was very excited to see the talented, sixteen-year-old singer/songwriter, who is quickly growing as an artist.

Even before Eilish hit the stage, the audience’s excitement was electric. They sang the songs being played by the venue and screamed loudly for both Eilish and her brother Finneas, who is known for his own music as well as acting roles in Glee and Modern Family. You could just feel the excitement in the room to see their favorite artist.

Eilish walked onstage and greeted her fans with her energetic and upbeat performance of “Bellyache.” You could feel the floor shake as fans jumped up and down. The simple stage decor and her bright yellow jacket made Eilish’s presence stand out. After wrapping “Bellyache,” she slowed things down with “idontwannabeyouanymore” and “&Burn” from her 2017 EP titled Don’t Smile at Me. The crowd joined in but unfortunately, her beautiful, soft vocals became unclear against the loud singing of the audience.

Then she serenaded the crowd with “Bored,” which was featured on the Thirteen Reasons Why soundtrack. I was stunned by her vocal range. The Los Angeles native then spoke of how cold it was in Philly and how she missed the warm weather. Soon after that, Eilish took a short break backstage to let her brother perform one of his own songs. Though the crowd adored him just as much as they adore her, they were still thrilled when she returned to complete her set.

When Eilish hits the road for another tour I would definitely recommend getting tickets to see her show. Her vocals are unforgettable, you won’t want to miss her performance. I predict she will be very well known soon.
