Charlotte Sands, John Harvie & Hariz – The Foundry – Philadelphia, PA – October 18, 2022

Tuesday night, the incredible pop-punk artist Charlotte Sands graced the stage at The Foundry in Philadelphia on her first full headline tour – “Love and Other Lies,” named after her recent album released in January. As it neared time for doors to open, the line of eager and excited fans grew massively as they awaited a night of amazing music ahead of them.

Taking the stage first was pop artist Hariz, who kicked off the night with a beautiful performance. With clean and stunning vocals, the multi-instrumentalist captivated the audience immediately, and you could hear a number of people in the crowd singing along with him.

As the venue continued to fill up with fans, up next was alt-rock artist John Harvie. Making sure to bring the energy for his hometown crowd, John Harvie and his band put on a powerful performance, getting fans off their feet and building up the excitement in the room even more.

At around 9:00, the lights went low as Charlotte Sands’ drummer and guitarist took the stage and started the show. As fans cheered, they started off with an amazing instrumental intro to add to the anticipation that filled the room already. A few moments later, Charlotte Sands came running on stage and kicked off her set with her newest release and a fan favorite, “Tantrum.” This song immediately had fans jumping, screaming, and singing along, as Sands moved along every inch of the stage interacting with the crowd. The energy didn’t stop there as she continued her set with “Bad Day” and “Special.”

In between songs, Charlotte Sands shared with fans how excited she was to be back on stage in Philadelphia, playing an almost sold-out show at one of the biggest venues on the tour. She went on to share an intimate moment with the crowd during her performance of “Love and Other Lies.” During this song, emotions grew in the room as fans took out their phone flashlights and sang along, filling the venue with light, bringing Sands to tears on stage. Following this emotional moment, Charlotte Sands played an unreleased song, “Alright,” which is said to be released sometime in January 2023.

As the set came to an end, Charlotte Sands ended the night with another fan favorite, “Dress.” Fans sang along and danced with each other as Sands continued to interact with and sing directly to individuals in the crowd, dominating the stage with her phenomenal energy and stage presence. While there’s only a few more stops on the “Love and Other Lies” tour, be sure to check out Charlotte Sands and keep an eye out for her next tour. It’s an unforgettable performance you won’t want to miss!
