Pussy Riot
Look out big government, Pussy Riot is coming to town.
The famous Russian punk rock collective Pussy Riot will be playing the Black Cat in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, May 23. Led by Nadya Tolokonnikova, the band will be feature 12 other anonymous members of the political art community, with some appearing on stage and others preferring to be out of the spotlight. The show will feature new audio-visuals and performance art pieces.
Dorian Electra will open with a politically-charged set.
It’s sure to be a happening, so if you are in the area be sure to get some tickets. If you’re not in the capitol on that day, check to see if Pussy Riot is stopping in a town near you.
